C&T is introducing an enhanced panel PC experience with integration of a new LCD panel solution.
It provides better clarity, higher brightness to 500 nits, and more stable supplies.

Detailed description for solution:
The new VIO-W221 Series (V.14) will be introduced with new finished good part numbers.
Listed below is the new specification:
  • Operating Temp: -10°C to 50°C
  • Brightness: 300 (Typ.) ? 500 (Typ.)

  • Affected PNs that will be End-of-Life (EOLed).
  • New finished good PN.

Method of Identifying
Change (if applicable)

  • To be compatible with the new VIO-W221 (V.14), firmware for PC Series (PC module) and MX Series (monitor module) needs to be updated.   
  • For PC Series and MX series shipped since year 2024, firmware has already been updated to support all the VIO Series.
  • If you have any PC Series or MX Series in hand that was shipped prior to 2024, it can be compatible with previous
    VIO-W221 (V.13) or any other VIO-212, VIO-215, VIO-217, VIO-219, VIO-W215 Series.
